Pang Lhabsol is a unique festival to celebrate Nature. All celebrations are held surrounding the world's third-highest peak of Mount Kanchenjunga.
Besides celebrating the peak it honors the treaty between Lepcha and Bhutia. All deities are welcomed in this festival.
The celebration is around the fifteenth day which falls in the seventh month of their calendar and in the English calendar at the end of August.
This scene of a depiction of the deity is accompanied by joking and laughter.
