Situated at a distance of 2 Km from the main Bus stop of Amaravati, Dhyana Buddha Statue is a magnificent and gigantic statue of Lord Buddha, known to be the tallest Buddha statues in India. This place is one of the most attractive tourist places in Amaravati in Andhra Pradesh. The towering height of the statue is 125 feet and took around 12 years to build and complete it. It was started in 2013 and was completed in 2015. The huge statue of Buddha is facing towards the natural River Krishna and surrounded by a lush green space spread over 4.5 acres of area. Dhyana Buddha statue was made by R. Mallikarjuna Rao, the joint Director of the Social welfare department of Guntur District. It is inspired by 50 sculptures' designs and made of bricks and concrete. Adjacent to the Statue, Dhayana Buddha Park is situated. People can come and relax here for some time. Also, the complex has a seminar hall and many luxury suites for tourists coming from all over the world. Come and visit this beautiful place.
