Gurudwara Chheharta Sahib

The Gurudwara Sri Chheharta Sahib is located in Amritsar. This gurudwara was named after a well which was dug by Guru Arjan Dev Ji. The well was so big that it was difficult to get water from it, so Guru Arjan Dev Ji had put six Persian wheels here so that water can be taken easily. Now that well has been covered, but still, water comes from it to Sarovar. There is a Hall in this gurudwara where the langar service is run all day. Whichever devotee comes here, they eat langar. So whenever you come to visit Amritsar, you must do the deed of this gurudwara.
