Archaeological Society of India Museum was built in 1956, situated near Mahabodhi Temple. The museum houses some magnificent and rare antique collections.

Archaeological Society of India Museum established in 1956. It has an excellent collection of rare stone sculptures, miniature pot, several Hindu and Buddhist relics, terracotta items, Lord Buddha images, coping stones that were transported from the famous Mahabodhi Temple and copper antimony rod. The coins of the Mughal era, antique relics and monuments belonging to the Mauryan and Gupta period are also on display for the visitors.
