Bokaro

Bokaro is a district of Jharkhand state established in 1991 situated on the plateau of Chotanagpur at an altitude of 210 meters above sea level. The city is mainly made up of valleys and streams, and recognized as one of the major industrial areas of India. Bokaro has many tourist attractions for the thrill of tourists, of which the famous industrial unit Bokaro Steel Plant is the most prominent. Apart from this, Garga Dam in Bokaro - a beautiful picnic spot that provides water to Bokaro Industries, Bokaro Library - a serene library, Jawaharlal Nehru Biological Park, City Center - a busy market area. Tourists should keep in mind that during the Bokaro season, the coolness is from October to February and it is often hot from March to May and the rainy season in Bokaro lasts from June to September.
