Located in the hill ranges of Giridih district of Jharkhand, Pareshnath Hills is at a height of 1350 meters. A very important pilgrimage site for Jains, they called it Sammed Sikhar.
This architectural splendor and historical religious temple of Jains was built in the 18th century. Pareshnath is the 23rd of the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism. The only Tirthankara who got the title of Kalpavriksha.
A large number of devotees from near and far away distances come here to visit the religious place.
You have to trek a distance of 4500 ft. and it takes around 4 hours to reach the peak. You can reach here from Ranchi 190 Km, from Dhanbad 37 Km. or from Bokaro which is 40 Km away.
