Bokaro is a district of Jharkhand state established in 1991 situated on the plateau of Chotanagpur at an altitude of 210 meters above sea level. The city is mainly made up of valleys and streams, and recognized as one of the major industrial areas of India. Bokaro has many tourist attractions for the thrill of tourists, of which the famous industrial unit Bokaro Steel Plant is the most prominent.
