Bagheswari hill is a famous tourist spot in Assam. This hill is 1 km away from Bongaigaon.
This hill is well known for having an ancient temple of Lord Shiva, which is situated inside a stone cavern, along with this temple. Bagheshwari hill is home to two different famed temples that are Baba Tarak Nath temple and Bagheshwari temple. This hill also took its name after the Bagheshwari temple.
During the festival of Mahashivratri, this place becomes crowded by the devotees.
Slowly this place is getting converted into an eco-friendly travel destination and recreational spot. Different measures have been taken, and formative works have done to make Bagheswari hill a vacationer target. There is an artificial lake built that has a permanent stream.
The slope also contains a watchtower on the top of the hill that offers an ethereal view of Bongaigaon and nearby spots. The surroundings of Bagheswari Hill are filled with greenery and a calm environment.
