Jogighopa and Pancharatna are two popular historical sites in Bongaigaon, Assam. It is situated on the banks of the Brahmaputra river. Jogighopa is on the northern side bank of the Brahmaputra river, and Pancharatna is on the south side.
These popular sites have many cubicles cut out of the rocks. These small rooms date back to medieval times, and these were used as meditation rooms for the monks.
The site has various ancient monuments and temples carved out of vast rocks in the area.
The connecting bridge between Jogighopa with Pancharatna is called Narnarayan Setu. Narnarayan Setu is a double-deck bridge with a railway track on the lower deck and a road on the upper deck.
