Bhagsunag Temple, a major religious center, is situated at an altitude of 1770 meters above sea level. Dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, the temple reflects the art and culture of medieval times. This ancient temple is considered sacred by the Hindu and Gorkha communities. There are beautiful ponds within the premises of the temple. Travelers can see water springs from several tiger heads in the pond. The local people believe that the water in these ponds has healing potential.
