The Masroor Rock Cut Temple is located at a distance of 32 km from Kangra in Dharamshala, an archaeological site that is currently a ruin. The complex here has a combination of 15 rock-cut temples designed in Indo-Aryan style architecture. It is said that it was built in the 8th century, which is dedicated to the Hindu gods Shiva, Vishnu, Devi, and Saura. It has a square sanctum sanctorum at the interval, while on the other side of the temple is a rectangular pavilion with four huge pillars and a facade with four subsidiary shrines. this temple was constructed in the 10th century using a solid piece of stone, due to its architectural style, it is said to be reminiscent of the Ajanta-Ellora temple.
