Dinjoy Satra is a famous tourist attraction in Dibrugarh. It is situated around 5 km towards the north of Chabua township at Bisnubalikakunshi village near North Lakhimpur.
Dinjoy Satra was founded by Aniruddha dev, who was one of the twelve principal disables of Gopal Atadev.
It is also a socio-cultural institution of the Vaishnauite sect. It is a famous religious site of Dibrugarh, and devotees following Vaishnavism regularly visit this Satra.
Dinjoy Satra fell into trouble during the Moamoria rebellion for many years. The devout seat at the Satra remained empty after the death of its head. After this, the Burmese invasion also caused havoc with the peace of Satra.
