Raidongia Dol

Raidongia Dol is a famous place in Dibrugarh. It contains ruined monuments that still have 14 statues of the 24 ancient relics of the Ahom kingdom. Raidongia Dol located in Laria Mouza in the Kalakhowa region, near Dhingia Barbarua road.

The monument has a height of about 45 ft, and it is a magnificent structure. According to historical evidence, it is said that this Dol along with the adjoining pond of and 200 Pura was given to Raidongia Barua as a dowry by Swargadeo Pramatta Singha for his sister's marriage.

Nowadays, Raidongia Dol as well as the adjacent pond gives a majestic view that also attracts the tourists visiting Dibrugarh. It is a fine place to spend some leisure time with family and friends.
