Diu

If you want to travel to the beaches, then Diu is a far better option than Andaman or Lakshadweep, go there. Diu is a coastal city in the union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Very different from other beach destinations in the country, and very few tourists know about it.

Diu is often called the Isle of Kama, and like Goa, Portuguese influence is seen here. Blessed with sun, sand, and sea in a defined environment, the land of Diu is emerging as one of the best beaches in India.

The island is not overcrowded, the noise is not snatched, the primal quality of the coast remains, and the island attracts tourists who want to get lost in the lap of nature.

The main attraction of Diu is the Nagoa beach, which is located about 20 minutes from Diu. It is a beach with a horseshoe shape. This beach is considered to be the best for swimming, however, tourists can enjoy sailing, boating, water skiing, and other such adventurous activities.

Ghoghla beach is located in Ghoghla village, which is one of the largest, quiet, and magnificent beaches in Diu district. This beach is an ideal place for swimming, parasailing, surfing, and other thrilling water sports.

Jalandhar Beach in Diu is named after a mythological demon whose temple is built on a hill nearby. This beach is a symbol of beauty, peace, and harmony.

Diu also has many temples and churches. The other major attraction here is the Gangeswar Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva of Hinduism. The temple is located three kilometers from Diu in a village called Fadum.

Tourists can also visit St. Paul's Church (named after St. Paul), the Apostle of Jesus Christ, and St. Francis of Assisi, one of the oldest churches in Diu. The St. Thomas Church located here was built by the Portuguese in 1598.

Diu also has many Interesting Museums, including the Sagar Shell Museum.
