Igitun Chalne or Fire Walk Festival is celebrated in Sirigao, Goa every year. It is a Hindu festival and devoted to Goddess Lairaya. To show the true and complete devotion towards Devi Lairaya Hindu devotees walk on hot coals.
This act of bravery in awe to the festival brings many peoples together and unite them. Nowadays the festivals are getting attracted to the onlookers and outsiders.

The place becomes the hub of Art, Culture, Tradition, and Education of Goanese people and outsiders. After walking on hot coals the devotees spent a whole night of merrymaking and happiness.
