Kongdori is a bowl-shaped area situated between the summits of the Gulmarg and Apharwat peak. It fascinates skiers and snowboarders from the country and abroad.

Kongdori is a stop or station during the Gulmarg Gondola cable car journey and is at an altitude of 8530 feet, and the second phase of the ride takes people to the Apharwat peak at 13500 feet. From here, you can have a broad and spectacular view of Nanda Devi Peak and Pir Panjal.

The ride from Gulmarg to Kongdori takes around 10 minutes, and Kongdori to Apharwat peak takes 12 minutes.

Apart from the beauty of the Himalayan ranges, you can also enjoy other activities like horse riding and snow skiing.
