The famous Saas Bahu Mandir of Gwalior is built by King Mahipal of the Kachhwaha dynasty in the 9th century. Saas Bahu Mandir of Gwalior attracts a lot of tourists and devotees visiting here. As the name says, this temple is not of mother-in-law and daughter-in-law its name derives from the name Sahastrabahu which is another name for Lord Vishnu. It has carvings of Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Goddess on its door. It is a pair of 2 temples, one is big, and one is small and made of red sandstone with lotus carvings.
