Hitec City

Hitech City (Hyderabad Information Technology Engineering Consultancy City) is currently the main township area of Hyderabad. This township is near the city premises of Madhapur and Gachibowli. When Bangalore emerged as an IT center, then Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu planned to make Hyderabad an IT hub. Talking about providing the best infrastructure facility, he invited many IT companies to set up centers here. The first phase of the Hitech City project was Cyber Tower, and the second phase was Cyber Gateway. The cyber tower was the office for multinationals such as GE Capital and Oracle Corporation. Today, Hi-Tech City, also known as Cyber City, has offices in Satyam Computers, Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, Mindspace, L&T, Infosys, APIIC, IBM, and Google. Companies like Infosys have even made their campus in Hitech City.
