The murti was brought from Vrindavan to Jaipur by Raja Sawai Jai Singh II. In this temple there are 7 aartis in one day and in that time devotees can have a darshan of Lord Govind. According to popular legend, Lord Krishna's image in the temple looks similar like Krishna's from during his incarnation on Earth.
