Bagh-e-Bahu is a beautiful and famous garden of Jammu. Atop a mountain overlooking the Tawi River, the park is worth visiting, with spacious lawns, lavish fountains, attractive stone sculptures, a beautiful lake, and a large aquarium that add to the peaceful aura of the park.
People come here for the peace, the ambiance, and the romantic spirit presented by this park help to spend a relaxing evening. When entering, one is greeted with a giant sign, which says that the garden is made up of plants trimmed into these shapes giving the whole place a serene atmosphere.
This raised terrace has many fountains present at different levels. These fountains make the atmosphere of the spot more beautiful. The garden at the top level has its lake.
The setting of this lake is picturesque, surrounded by colorful flowers, contrasting stone paths, providing a magnificent contrast to the eyes of the passersby. There are also waterfalls and a central water canal that runs through the garden, which is a beautiful sight to behold.
The stone sculptures found here harmonize well with the surrounding greenery, creating a serene atmosphere. And at last, you will see India's largest underground aquarium in this park, which is the shape of a fish, and has 24 aquarium caves and 13 small caves, which have more than 400 species of freshwater and saltwater fish.
It is a well-maintained aquarium with state-of-the-art equipment, a public gallery, a laboratory, and an attractive museum.
The whole garden brings together the elements of earth, water, and greenery.
