Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary is famous for its forest tourism, but for the residents, it is more famous due to elephants. Founded in 1975 and inaugurated by Sanjay Gandhi. Dalma Jungle is home to animals, birds and tree species such as Elephants, barking deer, sloth bear, royal, cheetah and tiger also hide in these dense forests. The main tree species here are Terminalia, Berries and many more species. This Sanctuary is a favorite spot of elephants as it also has water in summer. At the top of the hill is the guest house of the Tata Steel and Forest Department. There is also a temple of Lord Shiva where devotees come in large quantities during the time of Shivaratri.
