Dhikala Zone is a beautiful and serene tourist spot located on the Patil Doon Valley in Jim Corbett National Park. Dhikala is famous all over the world for its wildlife.
Although there are other zones of Corbett like Jhirna, Bijrani, Sitabani, Gairal, Durga Devi, all of them are very beautiful, but Dhikala is famous as tiger reserve and is known for its identity in all of them.
Dhikala is a very dense forest. No one can tell when you will encounter tiger it while doing safari. During the safari, the maximum number of animals is seen in the Dhikala zone due to the dense forest, the number of animals is large.
Here you will get the opportunity to see deer, wild elephants, chitals, cobra snakes, a variety of reptiles, and various birds.
There is a rest house to stay in Dhikala, which is 100 years old and was built by the British.
To stay in the rest house you have to book online 45 days in advance. Here the gypsy's only gets an entry having a permit of Jim Corbett.
