The Sukapha Samannay Kshetra was built in the memory of Sukapha, the first Ahom king of Assam. Sukafa Samannaya Kshetra is located near Mohbandha, close to Jorhat and Dergaon.
Sukapha was the founder of the Ahom kingdom, whose empire lasted for 600 years. Sukapha was a Thai prince who had crossed over to the Patkai region.
He is the main person who focused on the integration of tribals and non-tribal people of the area. The Sukapha Coordination Zone has created as an effort to light up and protect the Sukapha leadership.There are many gripping things to see in the Sukafa Samannaya Kshetra.
Presently, an excavation project is underway at this site. This excavation is being done to find out more about the Ahom kingdom.
The entrance of Sukapha Samannay Kshetra is very eye-catching and massive. It is a monument of immense pride, and the surroundings are beautiful and greenery everywhere.
