Sabarna Sangrashala is a heritage museum in Kolkata. It is maintained by the Sabarna Roy Choudhary family located at Saptarshi Bhawan, Baro Bari, Diamond Harbour Road, Barisha, Kolkata.
The Sabarna Roy Choudhary family is a well-known family of West Bengal. It was established in 2005 to meet the needs of students and researchers to create awareness about the preservation of historical source material.
It has a full-fledged reading hall and library for visitors, where they read about several historical events, and some of them are rare documents and articles.
The museum contains antique manuscripts, maps, books, and pictures.
It also houses several other items like huge earthen rice pots, metal candle stands, and grinding wheels which belong to the 18th century.
The museum organizes an International History and Heritage Exhibition every year in February. It is a four-day annual program that conducts Seminars, cultural events, and open quizzes as part of the exhibition.
