Science City is an exhibition and a museum related to science. It was established on 1 July 1997 and is the largest science center of the Indian subcontinent comes under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
Science City is one of the prime tourist attractions in Kolkata. It has two facilities - Science Center and Convention Center.
The Science City complex has a Space ODC, Dynamotion, Evolution Park, Maritime Center, and a Science Park. Space Odyssey features the first large-format motion picture auditorium, a timing instrument, a 3-dimensional visual auditorium, the magic of mirrors, and exhibits on space science, dynamics, and fiction.
There is a science and technology corner, a water aquarium, an exhibition on giant robotic insects, and many interactive exhibits for both the education and entertainment of the audience.
The convention center complex consists of a large auditorium, a small auditorium, and a seminar hall with a seating capacity of 15 to 100, an in-house, and an open courtyard exhibition space. The auditorium and seminar rooms are fully air-conditioned.
The convention center of the city of science is the most preferred venue for the company's annual general meetings and cultural events.
