Kurukshetra

Kurukshetra is an ancient city of Haryana state of India, deeply connected with Hindu mythology. Many dynasties of Kurukshetra also emerged as a study center during the Maurya Empire. Kurukshetra, the birthplace of Srimad Bhagwat Geeta, is primarily known for India's most historic war Mahabharata, the  India have ruled this historic land respectfully. great war that was fought between two powerful families (Kauravas and Pandavas) of the same dynasty. Due to its mythological importance, this land is known all over the world. Presently Kurukshetra is a district of Haryana State. It has several attractions for which a large number of tourists visit this place every year. Most important is Brahma Sarobar, a Mela is organized every year in this location. Devotees come here for a holy dip in the Sarovar. Kalpana Chawla Memorial Planetarium is another attraction one must visit. Besides, Sri Krishna Museum, Pipli Zoo, Crocodile farm are also attracting tourists in large numbers. Bhadrakali Temple is one of the 51 peeths also situated here.
