Raja Harsha's Tila extends 1 km in length on the outskirts of Kurukshetra city to a width of 750 meters. This old mound situated at an altitude of 15-18 meters from where the valuable property is obtained, inside of the ground, a historical relic here. The Archaeological Department of India has done excavation work, the antiquities belonging to 6 cultural and historical periods have been unearthed on this mound so far. During the excavations, the remains of Rajput, Gupta, the Kushan, the post-Gupta period, Bardhaman, and the Mughal period have been found. Among the kingdoms found here, the time after the Kushan and Gupta periods is the most important. Items found during the Kushan period include painted gray ware associated with the Gupta period, including polished redware. Two bricks from this mound have been found during the search. The mound also houses some relics of the Indo-Islamic period and a garden complex, and some structural remains of antiquity have also been found. 'Harsh mound' is a good place for archaeological enthusiasts.
