The gateway of Kurukshetra is the holy place Rantuka Yaksh Tirth. Before entering the holy city Kurukshetra, people visit the Tirth. It is one of the four Yakshas present in the region.

The tirtha is situated on the banks of Saraswati river. The tirth is named after Renuka, the wife of Rishi Jamadagni.
