Dara Shikoh, the son of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, was a disciple and admirer of Sheikh Chilli, the prince is said to have learned many things from Sheikh Chilli. The Tomb is very magnificent which, speaks well of Mughal architecture, Sandstone stones were used to build this tomb, This mausoleum is a circular drum-shaped where the tomb dome is pear-shaped, the tomb of the great saint is situated exactly in the center. Just next to this mausoleum is also the tomb of the saint's wife, which is built of sandstone, somewhat similar to the Taj Mahal in Agra, both buildings have been declared protected buildings by the Archaeological Survey of India.
