One of the two hill forts that constitute the Rajmachi fortification, located in Rajmachi village, 8.5 km from Lonavala in the Sahyadris mountain range is Manaranjan Fort. The fort is 2700 feet high and has three gates and large ramparts. The highest point of the fort acts as a viewpoint. From the top of Maoaranjan Fort, Karnala fort can be seen. There are some water tanks at the summit. You can have a view of explosive depots and the watchmen's houses at the complex of the fort. You can also find a square lake that is filled with water all year-round inside the fort. Come and visit this fort with family and friends.
