Gautam Buddha Park is one of the many historical monuments and parks in Lucknow. The park is located in the old city of Lucknow near Rumi Darwaza, Bada Imambara, and Shaheed Smarak.
It is believed that Gautama Buddha spent most of his life in Uttar Pradesh and used to be the ancient Nakhlau of Lucknow, derived from the name of Lord Buddha's nail. This park was developed on an area of ten acres by the Lucknow Development Authority in 1980.
The park has a giant marble statue of Lord Buddha. The park is famous among tourists for its serene environment and exquisite beauty. The park also includes artistic elevations, fountains, lamp posts, benches, railings, and a variety of trees and small sculptures.
In this park, there are many types of games available for the child to play, as well as many types of swings that can be swing here.
Apart from this, there is an artificial canal in which paddle boating also done. Apart from tourists visiting Lucknow, this park is also a favorite destination for the residents.
