Located on the left bank of the river Beas, the Arjun Gufa or the Cave of Arjuna, known for natural beauty is 5 Km from the town of Manali in Kullu district.

The Arjun Gufa is linked to the legend of Mahabharata.

There is a prevalent belief that it is in these caves near the Prini Village that Arjun, one of the Pandava brothers, performed his penance and meditated as a result of which he succeeded in acquiring the Pashupata Astra or the weapon from the Hindu Lord Indra.

You have to reach Arjun Gufa by Trekking. The place is very beautiful. Locals often come to make a picnic here.

Tourists will enjoy visiting this serene natural cave.

You can visit this place throughout the year. But the best period to visit is from March to June. Though it is open 24X7, it is advisable to visit the cave during the daytime.
