The National Park located in the Kullu region in the Himachal Pradesh state is The Great Himalayan National Park, spread over an area of 754 Square. Km. It was established in 1984 at an altitude of between 1500 and 1600 meters. It consists of four valleys, consists of varieties of endemic and exotic flora and fauna. It is the habitat of more than 375 specious of fauna, which includes 3 reptiles, 9 amphibians, 11 annelids, 31 Mammals, 181 birds, 127 insects, and 17 mollusks. It is situated in the western path of the Himalayan mountains and is a conservation area. One must come and see this beautiful National Park in the lap of Himalayan ranges. To reach the National park take flight from Delhi and reach Bhuntar airport in Kullu and go around 60 Km. by Road. By rail, you have to reach to Joginder Nagar near Mandi. Regular trains are there from Delhi and Chandigarh.
