The purpose behind building this complex is to pay tribute to all the Indian soldiers, who sacrificed their priceless lives for the Indian Nation in War, this place also holds a great significance in the history of India's Freedom Struggle. Bodies of Many martyred soldiers are buried within the complex premises. The Complex exhibits letters, things related to the war, photographs of many soldiers, badges, and much more. Inside the complex tourists can witness huge monuments like the INA War Memorial, a bronze statue of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, a stone structure built in the traditional Manipuri style, and belongings of many freedom fighters. The place connects visitors with the history of India's Freedom Struggle, a must-visit place in Moirang, Manipur.
