Adhar Devi Temple

Located 3 kilometer away from the main town of Mount Abu, Adhar Devi Temple is situated inside a cave. It is a religious themed tourist destination.

In the complex a well is there, which has milk colored water. It is believed that the well is having heavenly power. Locals believed that the well is the form of Kamdhenu (holy cow).

As per legend, the 'Adhar' of the goddess fell, and it was found hanging in the mid-air owing to which the temple is also called Adhar Devi Temple.

You have to climb 365 steps to reach the temple, 365 steps are the symbolic of each day of the year, which one might find to be a strenuous climb, but it is rewarding as you get an entire view of the city from the top.
