Guru Shikhar

Guru Shikhar, a peak in the Arbuda Hill of Sirohi district in the state of Rajasthan. It is the highest point of Aravalli range of mountains which is 1722 meters elevation. There is a temple at the top of the mountain in the name of Dattatreya, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Guru Sikhar or 'the peak of the guru' is named after Dattatreya. One more temple dedicated to his mother, Anasuya, wife of sage Arti nearby. There is an age-old bell and on the bell with words it is written "1411 AD". It signifies the time that how old are the temples.
