Mahalaxmi Temple one of the oldest and historic temples in Mumbai and very well known among locals as well as tourists, situated on Bhalubhai Desai Road in the Mahalaxmi area. The temple was built in back 16th-17th century and mainly worshipped for Goddess Laxmi along with Goddess Kali and Goddess Saraswati. Every statue of the Goddesses of the temple is adorned with jewelry and other ornaments made of Gold, inside the temple you will need some necessary items for the puja that you can buy from stalls outside the entrance of the temple.
