Marve Beach

Marve Beach is another perfect spot in Mumbai, where you can relax away from the bustling life of Mumbai City, situated in Western Suburb of Malad in the city if Mumbai. Due to the strong tides and currents, it is generally not recommended to swim in the seawater, as it can drown you easily.Surrounded by cashew trees and attractive villas, the place is an ideal spot for couples, as they can get privacy here, along with spending some peaceful time while watching serene sunset. Marve beach is like a mini Goa in Mumbai, as the locals here are of Catholic natives and their dressing and the mannerisms will remind you of Goa. There is also a beautiful church of Portuguese, which gives an extra charm to this place and popular among locals as well as tourists. At the beach, you can also witness the Jawans of The Indian Naval Base-INS Hamla doing training at the beach in early morning hours.
