Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary

Located in Munnar, a variety of bird species found here, seldom seen anywhere else, one of the main attractions of Munnar is Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. It is also known as Thattekad Bird Sanctuary. This is the richest bird habitat of Peninsular India. It is a great tourist place for those interested in birds and birdhouses.
