Shedup Choepelling Temple is the famous Tibetan temple of Mussoorie, which is also known as the Tibetan Buddhist temple. This temple is situated on Happy Valley Road, which is surrounded by beautiful snow mountains from all sides. It is said that after coming from Tibet, the Dalai Lama took refuge in Mussoorie and India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru recorded this land as Dharamshala in his name. The temple is adorned with many beautiful clay lamps and is also hoisted with prayer flags, in addition to many books of Tibetan literature.
