Sai Mandir is a Hindu temple situated in the Assangthang area of Namchi, South Sikkim. The temple is a pilgrimage center dedicated to Shirdi Sai baba. This temple is located at a distance of 3 km from Char Dham.
It was built in 2010 and opened for the public on 3rd November 2010. This beautiful temple was a gift for the people of Sikkim by the honorable chief minister Dr. Pawan kumar Chamling. The temple has a very aesthetic architecture.
The temple has been built into two-storeyed with two halls on each floor. The exterior of the temple has beautiful gold accents. There is a statue of Shirdi Sai Baba on the 1st floor, and the ground floor accommodates devotees for singing hymns and offering prayer in praise of Sai Baba.
There are also ten paintings representing the ten different incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Sai Mandir has a very peaceful atmosphere. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden from where a person can get a panoramic view of Mt. Kanchenjunga.
Outside the temple premises, there are small shops selling tea and cold drinks. And small restaurants serving Indian vegetarian food.
