Delhi Garden Festival is held in Garden of Five Senses, Westend Marg, Saket, New Delhi. The festival is organised by Delhi Tourism Board.
In the busy city life people rarely get time to spare some time amidst nature, especially in metro cities. But to stay away from the chaos and bustle of the city for a day or some time everyone need to pass some time amidst mother nature.
Nature is unquestionably essential for every human being, so keeping in mind the above things, in 2004, Delhi Garden Festival started by the Delhi Government.
In the festival, several varieties of flowers like roses, dahlias, as well as potted plants, home plants, bonsais are displayed in the event. The festival become the biggest flower show in Delhi. Nurseries, societies, horticulture, floriculture and suppliers of seeds, horticulture equipment, fertilisers are take part in the program and display their items.
Everyday cultural programs are also organised to give life to the festival. Kavi Sammelan is also organised.
Different competitions are also organised such as painting competitions for children, art camps for youths, etc.
This best way to enjoy Garden Tourism festival is to come with family, friends and couples.
