Lakshminarayan Temple has situated 2 km away from Orchha Fort in Orchha town, Madhya Pradesh. It is another splendid example of unique architecture, which is a beautiful amalgamation of fort and temple.
Built by Raja Vir Singh in 1622 and rebuilt by Prithvi Singh in 1793, the inner walls of this temple are adorned with exquisite frescoes of mythological subjects.
The carvings of the Lakshmi Narayan temple have geometrical figures evoking the life of Lord Krishna, decorated with carvings of animals and flowers.
