Orchha Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, bordering Uttar Pradesh. This sanctuary located on an island between the Betwa River and the Jamni River. Because it is between the two rivers, the entire reserve is a wetland, thus making it an ideal environment for birds.
It stretches over about 46 square km and is home to many rare varieties of plants and birds. It was established in the year 1994 and has been attracting wildlife enthusiasts and bird-lovers since then.
Some of the species prevalent here include tiger, langur, leopard, bear, jackal, blue bull, and monkey. Bird species include woodpeckers, kingfishers, owls, swans, wild shrubbery, and geese.
Apart from this, you can enjoy many adventure sports like river rafting, fishing, trekking, boating, camping, hiking, and jungle trekking etc.
So come here for a whole day enjoying and watching the flora and fauna.
