Purkhauti Muktangan is spread over a huge 18 hectare of land developed by the Cultural Department of Chhattisgarh Government and was inaugurated by the Honourable President of India Shri A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in the year 2006.
It gives a glimpse of Chhattisgarh's rich culture. This place displays the habitat, artifacts, folk dances, food habits, etc. of the tribal of the State.
It also gives an insight into the crafts and arts of tribal which is undoubtedly mesmerizing.
Its blissful garden houses the life-like figures of tribal performance, different folk arts that provide a wonderful perspective on the vibrant treasures of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.
It is worth mentioning that this tourist attraction spot has captured a place in the VISION 2020.
