Rishikund is a beautiful spot in Rishikesh. It is said to be blessed by Goddess Yamuna. Rishikund is a holy kund where Ragunath temple can be seen through it.

Rishikund means the 'Pond of the Sage' and is one of the most important places to visit in Rishikesh. Rishikund is a sacred tank located near Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh. It is believed that the goddess of Yamuna river filled this pond with her water, pleased with the gentleness of Saint Kunj. Tourists can see the image of the ancient Raghunath Temple dedicated to Lord Rama and Sita in the water of the pond. Two famous temples, Lakshman Temple and Bharat Temple are also located near Rishikund.
