Suraj Mandir

Suraj Mandir or Sun Temple is devoted to the Sun God. The temple is as old as Somnath temple and is situated very near to Somnath temple. It is located in the north of the confluence of the holy Rivers.

Being an important Hindu pilgrimage site, it is also the victim of series of invasions and plundering along with Somnath temple throughout its history. But still, it is standing with its marvelous architecture.

The temple has several animal figures inside like Lions, Elephants etc.
