Ralang Monastery is a Buddhist monastery of the Kagyu community of Tibetan Buddhism that built-in 1995, located just 6 km from Ravangla in South Sikkim. In the Ralang Monastery where you get to relish the best of Tibetan Architecture. The biggest monastery in Sikkim is the excellent adaptation of colors, ideas, and unbelievable Tibetan Architecture. What attracts you more here is the collection of paintings and thangkas that reflect the splendor of Buddhist art that is inside the monastery, apart from this the Kewzing monastery, the Tumlong, and the Mangbaru Gompa and the Viewpoint of the monastery. Here every year a festival is held, in the name of Pang Lhabsol and it is celebrated every year in August. This festival is celebrated in a large volume by the devotees, and thousands of travelers attend it every year. Ralang Monastery is a great symbol of serenity and man-made Beauty in South Sikkim.
