Siddheshwar Dham, located in the small town of Namchi in South Sikkim, this shrine has tall statues of Lord Shiva. The central attraction of the Chardham complex of Namchi is the 87 feet high statue of Lord Shiva, which situated on the Solophok hills. It is said that Lord Shiva supervises the entire Char Dham complex and the valleys around it. This idol is located at the west end of Pahari, facing towards the eastern direction. This statue surrounded by 12 Jyotirlingas. These 12 famous Shiva temples spread over the religious geography of India. Every lingam is a replica of the lingam installed in its original place.There is a chapter in the epic Mahabharata where Arjuna performs austerities to obtain a Pashupati weapon from Lord Shiva. And then Lord Shiva is happy with his hard penance and gives him the boon of Pashupati weapon. The incident is said to have taken place on the Solofolk hill of Namchi. The compound of Chardham was built on this hill to commemorate the joy of the incarnation of Lord Shiva. This campus was inaugurated in November 2011 by Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati Maharaj and many religious dignitaries.Because the cloud always forms a part of this unique pilgrimage, as situated on a high hill. Passing through these clouds, you can see the temple and the idol of Lord Shiva emerging among the clouds, Who give you a glimpse and get lost in the back of the clouds. It seems as if God is giving you darshan before proceeding to other works. If ever changed, make this place a little faded, then the flowers here fill the joy in the atmosphere with its vibrant colors.
