Nuranang Falls is also known as Jang or Bong Bong Falls, which falls from a height of 100 meters in Arunachal Pradesh. It rises from the northern slopes of the famous Sela Pass, and further forms the Nuranang River Falls, and then falls into the Tawang River.
It is situated hardly 2 km from the town of Jang, near the road which connects Tawang and Bomdila, and probably it is also called Jang Falls. This enticing beauty of crystal clear water is an enthralling and thunderous ovation for those visiting this place.
It is not only a great attraction of Arunachal Pradesh, but the water power of the falls also used to generate electricity for local use. There is a small hydroelectric plant located near the base.
Don't forget to take a camera with you when you go there as it is a great place to capture beautiful snaps. From here you can also visit Tawang Monastery, which is located nearby.
The best time to plan a trip to see the waterfalls in full swing is from November to April.
